The testimonial to Mr Bchanadorst, the prorriiuent Liberal organiser, has reached nearly £10,000. Over 100 colonists were present at Sir Alexander Stuart's funeral. The Queen and the Princa of Walos sent equerries and wreaths. The Colonial Institute and the Exhibition Couimissiou were also represented. The funeral ceremony was conducted by Dean Fowler, «f Sydney. The United States Congress have passed a Bill giving American mail boats a bounty of 50 conts per mile.
