(ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH. — COPYRIGHT.) UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.) London, June 20. The Conservatives will support the caDdidature of 82 Liberal Unionists. Mr Gladstone, m his speeches m Midlothian, urges that the issue of the Irish question must be either coercion or a Dublin Parliament. He is bitterly personal towards Lord Salisbury and Mr Chamberlain, and condemns Lord Harrington's scheme as having no finality. The Marquis of Salisbury, speaking last uifcht at Leeds, aaul that h« would only coerce criminals iv Ireland, but was willing to concede local government not only to Ireland, but also to England knd Scotland. He criticised what he called Mr Gladstone's maudlin optimism and repudiates all coquetting with th# Parnellito party. The Times characterises Mr Gladstone's speech as a specimen of audacious quibbling on plain issues m the face of notorious facts. Armagh and Tyrone have been " proclaimed."
