And yet Another.
The black horso atached to a dray, which bolted on Saturday, was owned and driven by Mr Montague. When the fiery animal commenced to spurt, Mr Montague decided to let him rip, and accordingly got out over the stern of the dray, followed by a buz, and sundry and various, bottom boards of tho cart. Unfortunately he alighted on his knees, which evidently were not accustomed to Buch usage, as they with, their covering suffered badly from coming into contact with the gravel. The hoi so gallopped on past the railway station, and seeuie.i inclined to collide with the fislnvoinau's cart, but it was diverted frjm its V»r pose, and was ' eventually secured by Messrs (jrmwell, and Partridge. . The same horsey we hear, bolted on a- previous occiision, wheu drawing a savoury load at night, and. capsized; the applo cart m the Square. One' would have thought a nightman's horse would be steady enough to- draw a hearse, but the black steed is evidently top ambitious, and would fain be a high-uettled racer or hunter, or show his paces m a different kind of vehicle from that to which lie- has such a strong objection at present. There is surely an opening just now for some horse, tinner to put a few of the playful steeds of the district through hiß.hatidß,-for the greater safety of the public.
