AN INSULTING REFERENCE.

(TO THE EDITOR OF THE STANDARD.) iSir—Surely the editor pf the Times will, apologise for his insqltins' reference to the tea meeting m B.Qnnßctjpnwith All Saints' Church, to take place qex| Thursday. If; seems as if he can't leave no person alone. He makes nasty allusions to the printing pf the tickets, and to the probable kind <?f a t^ea he may get. If he co.uld not havefput m a good word •for the tea meeting" surely he need noi have gone out of the way to insult and* annoy those who are getiing it up. Although he been sent a ticket, (which courtesy Tie acknowledges with sneering insults.) he need not be there unless lie wishes, and very probably his room would be more relished ' than his company by some who will be present.— l am, &c, Member op All. Saints.:
