(to THE EDITOR OP THE STANDARD.) Sir,— l read m the Wanganui Herald of last night that Mr McKenzie 's horse was frightened by the noise of the Salva tion Army. This is the account as telegraphed from Pahuerston. Rent it should have made' enquiries bei fore sending abroad a statement that is quite untrue. I feel, inclined to is*yi more on the subject but will refrain^l am, &c, ■ Veritas.
