(BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH — COPYMGTHT (KEUTEJ&'S TELEGRAMS.) Sydney, Saturday. H.M.S. Nelson sails for New Zealand to-day. On the motion of Sir John Robertson the Legislative Assembly has adjourned until the 9th instant, m order to prevent the Government from proceeding with business. Melbourne, Suuday. The death is announced of Mr J. B. Were, G.M.G. Adelaide, Saturday. The Government have abandoned the idea of* passing the Federal Council Bill this session, and the Colony will consequently not be represented at Hobart next month.
