Count von Hafcfeldt, who replaces Count von Miinster as Ambassador for the Gentian Empire at the Court of St. James, arrived to-day from Berlin. ; . Athens, Nor. 7. [ The Greek Chamber of Deputies m view of the present disturbed state of affairs has voted 13,000,000 of drachmas towards increasing the strength of the navy, and 30,000,000 drachmas haß been passed as a patriotic loan m case of hostilities being rendered necessary. - : (beuteb's telegrams.) The International Conference on the Bulgarian question held its first sitting yesterday, but the proceedings were of a formal nature only, and the sitting was adjourned until to-morrow. ' Sir Philip Cunliffe Owen n-as entertained at a banquet last night.
