Publican's License Cancelled.
' ~ *? * (UNITED PRESS ASSSOCUATfON.) Wanganui, Wednesday. At the quarterly meeting of the M;i!<iri!<iri Licensing Committee to-day the license of John Robertson, of the lied Lion hotel, was cancelled from today, on the ground that the previous licensee, who hnd been refused a license, had boon carrying on the business, refusing Robertson a transfer of the lease and management.
