At a meeting of the Committees of tin; East and West Const and Nelson Railway Guarantors and Hallway League yesterday, Mr C. 0. liowen staled that he had received a telegram from London, intimating that negotiations for a contract were still on foot. Ponding further information, tho meeting adjourned.
