School Committe.

The Palmerston North School Com mittee met last evening. All the members were present, viz. — Messrs Leary, "Walton, Woodroofe, Hosking, Wright, Stewart and Hawkins. Mr Walton objected to the business proceeding, on the grounds of insufficient notice having been given to the members, the postcards calling the meeting not being posted till Saturday evening last, and the Act requiring that three clear days' notice should be given.
