(ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH, — COPYRIGHT. ) (RKUTER'S TKLEGRAMB.) Melbourne, Tne-^day. The Committee of the Melbourne Chamber of Commerce, held a meeting to-day, to discuss the question of telegraphic charges between New Zealand and Australia. The committee decided to take immediate steps m order to obtain a reduction of tariff on New Zea land cable: and instructed the secretary to write to the Victorian PosfcmasUrGeneral, urging him to bring the matter under" the [consideration of other colonial Governments. It was also resolved to invite 00-operation from all the colonial Chambers of Commerce, m order to bring about the early attainment of the desired revision of charge.
