Au Unplcasant Experience.
' (UNITED PBKSS ASSOCIATION.) Auckland, Friday. A. party of the Saida's officers and some citizens went to Motuapa Island yesterday, shooting. In the chase of game they became separated, and'on 1 the' party returning to Mr Reid's house, a midshipman named Birringer, of the Austrian navy, was found io be missing. 'Saarch was made all night, and lights exhibited and cjuns fired, to no purpose. "Word was sent to Auckland, ,and the Saida's launch, with a search party of 82 men, proceeded to Motuapa to-day, where the missing officer was found at Beid's. He had .fallen down a gully, but was uninjured. He had wandered about all night till daylight, after recovering Consciousness from the fall;
