fßv Telegraph." Auckland, April 22. The half yearly meeting of the shareholders of the Bank of New Zealand was held to-day. The usual dividend and bonus were declared, and the balance, £'25,000. carried ■ forward to the next half year. The figures show a moderate increase both m deposits and advances. The coin bullion and Government securities held amount to two millions seven hundred thousand. The chairman congratulated the shareholders upon the steady progress of the colony, notwithstanding the operation of important adverse influences.
