(EL 1 CTRIC TELEGRAPH. — COPIRIGHT.) SPECIAL TO UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION. London, April 8. Obituary — Edward Yogel Von Falckenstein, the celebrated German geueral, aged 88 years. The Melbou.ne mails dated 26th February, via Brindiai, were delivered here to-day. The Prince and Princess of Wales,and Prince Albert Victor reached Dublin today. Their Royal Higueisses were met on arrival by a vast crowd of people, displayed much loyal enthusiasm. Rio de Janeiro, April 6. The New Zealand Shipping Company's R.M.S. Rimutaka, from Lytfelton (March 16), arrived here yesterday evening, en route for Plymouth. Her cargo of frozen meat is m good condition.
(reuteh's telegrams.) Los'dos, April 9. His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales replying to an address of welcome presented at Dublin, expressed the hope that the visit would net be the last one he was able to pay Ireland. Persistent rumour lias gained ground to the effect that His Holiness the Pope is suffering from illness, but so far report lacks definite confirmation.
