Horses : The market has been moderately active; »m\ a good many changed hands at highly improved values. The Durham yards' were well filled on Friday, and there was a good attendance of buyers. The Patea horses werelhe principal attraction, and competition was steady throughout the sale. We quote hacks, from j£3 10s to b" 18 ; li»hl harness horses, £1.0 os to £16 10s; draught, from £20 V> £3,0. puttie : There has been a very large supply qf fut c.ittle, and an adequate one of other descriptions. Prices. for, fat beasts, were a i-.hacle lower, but other descriptions maintained the previous . weekV values. The Newmarket, yards were largely supplied on Tuesday with ; fat beasts, an.J there was a fait* urns' ci.' of o;ker descriptions ; prices depressed. For •tut beasts fully 2.s per lOOlbs. ; other descriptions unaltered. -..Sheep: In very limited supply, and advanced m value fully Is per head. Pigs : Scarce. There j'em.iLii-iiu unsatisfied di-mand.
