At the Hay market on. Friday, January 30, horse stock were at laio values. Heavy draught ranged from £20 to £30 ; good spi ing-cart or omnibus horses, from £15 to £25 ; small and inferior horses, at nominal prices." For dairy cows at, profit, there is a greatly improved inquiry at enhanced prices, good animals bringing 1 from £S to £10 10s ea;h, freely. At Remuera on Thuisday dairy cattle were m jrood inquiry throughout, the sale. Fresh conditioned store steers were also at full values, but cows and coarse steers were at low prices. Fat cattle were m loss than usual number, and prices realized LO- each higher than last week. Sheep well m full number hut belter worth about 2s each, and all brought forward sold. Lirata were m short supply. Best pens brought from 9s to 12s each. Fat c lives were plentiful, but sold well^ Pigs were also m 'full- supply- anirilC better demand than lor several weeks. •
