MESSRSBANKS AND CO'S'WEEKLY REPORT. .
The supply of fat cattle on Touts- j day was of very good quality, and j about the usual number. Stocks? lioing small, bidding was very brisk, anil prices were .higher than : last week. A draught of 31 mixeJ steers and cpws from Tauranjra' sold as follows --^Steers, from £6 5a to £7 2s 6d ; cows from .£4 los to £7: 12s Gd each. All being over 20.s per iOOlbs.. and some few must be quoted as high, as 255. Sheep were penned m moderate numbers, and prices; were unchanged from last week ; good wethers making 'from 14s 3d to 15s 9il each; lambs were m fair supply, android at 7s 6d to ds 3d. ■■' ' '
