The Hon. Mr Stout said there wer^e two difficulties m the way of carrying.out the proposal. , He>didi,^iot think if the syllabus were restricted, as he hoped it would be, they could afford to entrench, bri the few, and he did not see how the details' conoid be managed. Personally, hie had no .objection, but he did not see how the time-table could be arranged. He would bring the matter before the Cabinet, and the fullest consideration; wpuld.be: given to it.
