The inconvenience of th,fo \vfts very great, as picnic nnd Kirnjlar arrangements had often to be . made at home, and at night, when- it was impossible to go down, to the station to get' the required information. We have been inundated with complaints on the subject, and we are sure that the railway lost a great number of passengers simply through the difficulty of ascertaining when trains were to leave and when they would return. We hope the railway authorities will m future always advertise the holiday time-table, as they used to do so some time ago.-.
