Wanganui Stock Quotations.

MR FREEMAN R. JACKSON'S FORTNIGHTLY STOCK REPORT. "Wanuanui, Jan. 22. Mr F. E. Jackson reports : — My ■ gale at the Waverley yards on Friday last was largely attended. The bidding throughout was brisk, especially for cattle; the sales m all cases being m favour of the vendors. The cattle are all of good quality. At the yards to-day-tho same may be said so far as cattle are concerned, every line being sold at the fall of the hammer. Sheep were not so' well competed for.' I did not sell all that offered here or at Waverley, ewes being neglected; lambs and wethers met with a fair market, all selling at current .'rates. Pigs sold well at full rates. Horses are better worth for good useful sorts, the bulk of those .offering at the yards tor day selling at quotations.
