♦ " The Harmy" have again being figuring m the Police Court. At the Feilding Police Court on Wednesday a Salvationist, named Thomas Sexton, junr., charged a man named Geo. Foster with striking him. A witness said the blow was " quite heavy enough to kill a mos(;uito." Evidence was given for the de,)enoe that tlie defendant had previously complained to the police of the prosecutor having assaulted him. John Ryan, who said that he was by occupation " a Christian," deposed to seeing Sexton hit Foster on the mouth, without provocation. Defendant, sworn, deposed to Sexton striking him on the lip ; had given no provocation, and returned the blow. The Bench held defendant to blame m nursing his wrath, and putting oft' his retaliation, and he would be fined 10s, and costs 15s.
