Annual Entire Parade and Horse Sale.
Mr.Q-.M, Snelson reports that the parade of entires at the Tattersall's paddocks and the sale at the stables notwithstanding the.bad weather, a decided success, a better show of entires could, scarcely, be got tegether. The aucti6n sale commenced shortly after two o'clock and was kept up with vigor until nearly five, fifty howos and several y.ehi<:ies and the stock of a : saddler were submitted to the hammer. Fiye entires were offered for sale but only Watchman was cold at j£9o. A private ofter pi £170 has been since made for Bruce, but vefused. A steeplechaser was sold at 33^ guineas ; draught horses fetched from £U to £^0; Trap hoises, £7 to £17.; hacks, £8 to £ I4j weeds, £2 to £6. The saddlery was all disposed of at fair values.
