Manawatn Cheese and Butter Factory Company.
A meeting of -directors \of the above Company was held yester< lay afternoon, Present — Messrs V. Mqnrad, (chairman) Sly, AVirigate, .and Ckverhill. Mr Ferguson was re-elected aud Mr G-. H. Engles m the place of Mr J. Mowlem resigned. . ! The following tenders for the erection of a factory were opened :— Munro Bros., £398; Meyricky Perrin & Co , £380 j J. Powell^ £345 12s •»' Richter, Nannested & Co., £342 j A. Fiance; £328113; It waa resolved that the t§hd<er of Mr France be accepted. - A resolut'on was passed, instructing the secretary to send post cards to all defaulting shareholders giving notice that unless all arrears of calls are paid on or before tli o 14th May next legal proceedings will be taken, for recovery of same. >■ It was decided to advertise for a manager for factory At once.' ■? : • The meeting then adjourned.
