' Later. *The "Wesleyan Conference met this morning and the consideration of the cases of the probationers who have resigned duiing the year and have been received into the Episcopal Church, having amounts duo for collegiate training unpaid was resumed. The following resolution was unanimously passed :~ ** Tha,t the Secretary of the Conference Le instructed to apply jtq the former p o'mtioners for the Westeyan Mujlfi* try who have lately be*>n received injbo ihe Anglican»'Church for payment of
the sums owing by them on account of their training,und he be further instruc ted should such application fail m any case to call the attention of the Diocesan Synod m the bounds of which they reside to the impropriety of receiving as candidates for Holy Orders, men who havenot honorably discharged their financial obligations to a Sister Church. After other business, and the usual votes of thanks having been passed, the journal was read and the eleventh ew Zealand Conference closed its sosI sion.
