COMPETITIVE DESIGNS.
Auckland Library and Art Gallery.
(united press association.) " Auckland, This Day. ' The Committee appointed to report on the designs for a Public Library and Art Gallery, have selected the follow ing; seven from 35 competitors :— Pericles, Titana, Rough, Ashler, Hope (m shield), Fidelity, Beehive, Literae, Scientiae, Et Artes. The Committee believe none will come within the estimate of the £21,000 for the building.
