Mr Alfred BucMand's Report. At the Hay market, on Friday Dec. 7, fodder ringed from 2s 6d to 5s the cwt. ; oats, 2s 5d the bushel. ' The horee stock yarded were principally Biiitcd for riding purposes, and met a steady demand. At the hide and skin" sale on Tuesday, b'ost/hydes brought 3|d and 3£d the lb; , s|iee r p fckins, Is Id to' 3s sd;''lamb skips^ra sdeach ; tallow, 24s 6d and 25s tlie. cwt. ; small lots of wool; 4£d to ,p^dl tlie' lb. At Remuera, on Thurs - day, store cattle were numerotts and m good enquiry, at fully late values. Fat' cattle' were m usual supply and generally of good quality. The sale was ia brisk one. Drafts of steers averaged 255, and an occasional i choice pen reached 30s per 1 001 bs. Sheep were m; frill supply and lower hv price ' than last week Is to 2s each, bringing barely 2jd _per lb. Lambs were m short supplj, but were also at lower values. Well bred stove pigs and porkers broughfeinll values. - ... ... ■:•'.
