The Manawatu County Council are inviting tenders for erecting two torty-feet spans and protection works, at the A\ra Him Bridge, which was partly: demolished some eight months ago by a ' heavy flood, and which has been allowed ; to remain m statu quo .ever since, mu'fo to the discredit^ that body. Tenders | will close at noon to-morrow, March 6th. Plans and specifications can be seen at i the County Council Office, Foxton, the Manawatu Highway Board Office, Pal* merston Nortn, and- at the Manchester I Highway Board Office, Feildinj*. The same local body also invites tenders for \ the supply and delivery., of gravel for the repairs of the Rangititrei Line, » Stoney Creek Road, and the Karere ( Road.
