The usual relapse m business after the holidays has beon apparent during the week, and the trade oa the whole has been dull. The import market has however, been very brisk, and stocks of all descriptions are fully supplied. Galvanised iron is still sailing at almost bare cost, landed ; sales from stock are reported at L 24, and ex ship L2S 10s. Fencing wire is dull of sale, and quoted at Ll4, Ll4 10 3 , and Lls per ton for Nos. 6, 7, and 8; barb wire is well supplied, and quoted at L 54 to L 55 for 4-barb galvanised. Kerosene oil is very slow o f sale at Is Id per gallon, m bond, ior test oil. Colonial Produce — Flour is queted atLlO 10s toLll m sacks; oats are worth 3s 5d to 3s 8d ; butter comes forward very slowly ; sales have been made at 7^d to 8d per !b ; oatmeal is quoted at Lls to Lls 10s.
