MELBOURNE TIMBER MARKET.
(by electric telegraph.— copyright.) (reuter's telegrams.) Melbourne, Jan. 5. Messrs 0. S. Ross and Co., of this city, report having sold a cargo of kauri timber, ex Fleetwing, at an average cost price of 14s 9d per lOOteet super for hewn logs. The market is very weak.
