A Defaulter.
Mr George Beamisb, late collector of dogtax to the Patea County Council, has been committed for trial on a charge of embezzling monies belonging to the Council,and he has been also sentenced to a month's imprisonment for not rendering a proper, account of monies collected by him for the Council.
