Weld, to staißas the representative of the Wairau Disftct in the General Assembly, it is neeJfsary to state that they have done so through the supporters of Mr. Eyes having falsely represented that Mr. Weld would stand for Picton, and leave the Wairau open to Mr. Eyes.
