The fourth local wool sale of the seasog was held last Thursday. About 1000 bale'! were offered by the various brokers.
Messrs Levin and Co (Limited) report : -Pric es, c. »mpared with ti e January sale. showe 1 no change, and most parcels were cleared at prices which will compare fav>ouiabl\ with London results. We quote —Superior fine crossbred, 4d to 4|d ; medium crossbred and Romneys, 3UI to 4d ; coarse crossbred and Lincoln, 3d to 3gd ; logsl allied and inferior, 21 d to 3d ; pieces and belbes, 2d to 2|d ; locks Id to 1 ; lambs', 3d to 3|d. "
The United Farmers' Co-operative Association reports : Prices were from par io lower than at previous sale. We quote —Medinm greasy crossbred, 4d to inferior and log-stained, 2|d to 3d ; pi» ces, 2d to 2|d ; locks, Id to l|d.
