The head master desires to impress upon parentsandguardians the absolute necessity there is for every scholar to attend both regularly and punctually. This is especially so now, for it is in the early part of the year the foundation is laid ; hance the irregular scholar fails j to grasp the principles of the new work.ai"! is consequently heavily handicapped throughout the year. Such a condition disheartens scholar aud teacher alike, and makes a toil of what should be a pleasant task.
