FERRY AT WHANGAMARINO CREEK, WAIKATO.
We have been requested to publish the following notice of the establishment of a ferry at the Whangamarino Creek, on the Waikato A rope is to be stretched across
the creek, and fastened on ear.h side to a sirojig post. A canoe is to be attached to ibis rope so that it may be drawn across from eiiiier side. A charge of 6d. will be made for each passenger, and the same for crossing a horte. A notice to the following effect is to be posted on both sides of the creek. To TRAVELLERS, PaKEHA ANI) MAORI. Travellers by this road, whether passing up or do wn will be required to pay for crossing. For each passenger . . . 6d. For each hnrse . . . . Cd. To be paid by the person appointed to receive the same, for the use of the cauoe stationed here. WIROIIT Te Wheoro.
