Hospital Committee.
The monthly meeting on Tuesday .evening was attended by Messrs Parker (chair), Francis, Here and Fraser.
The minutes of last meeting were read, and confirmed on tha motion of Mesara Hore and Francis.
The correspondence was unimportant and a resolution receiving and approving it was proposed by Mes3r3 Francis and Fras«r and carried. The doctor reported that at date of laßt return there were four males and six females under treatment, and two males and four females had since been admitted, making the total 16. Two males and six femaleß bad been discharged and one male bad died. There were thus left three males and four females in the institution. There was one birth during the month, and nine oat-patients made 23 attendances. Donations: Miss Fitts, butter and aggs, end eggs from Miss Dowle and Mr Brown. Miss Kelly left on the 25th October, and Miss Farrow commenced duty on the 26tfa. Received on the motion of Messrs Fraser and Hore. Resolved—That during tho month Mr Francis supply the grcceriss, and Mr Marshall cart the coal.
Accounts amounting to ±lO7 12s 2d were recommended for payment. The secretary was instructed to obtain from Mr W. Hore bis account for horse hire for the ambulance, and charge the several amounts to those for whom the hire wbb obtained.
