Robinson Esq, District Land OQicer) _ The application of J. M'Lean for sections 1 and 4 of Block X., and 30 of Block VII., in all 200 acres, was dealtwitn, and, there being no objection, was granted. Angus M'Kav withdrew his application for section 7 of Block X. AUCTION SALES. This was the day fixed for auction between applicants lor land in Bock and Pillar district, the District Land Officer, by request of the Waste Lund Board, acting as auctioneer. Section 9, Block YI, 200 acres.—Applicants: Hector M\Neil Campbell, Arthur Sharkey, and Angus M'Kay. Campbell withdrew, Sharkey was not present, and Mackay was therefore declared the purchaser, at the upset price. Section 27, Block VII., 100 acres.—Applicants : Hedley W. Davie, and Michael Prendergast. Davie became the purchaser at 315., being one shilling advance on the upset price. Section 8, Block VI., 200 acres.—Applicants : John Chisholm, John Nolan, and John Laughton. Laugh ton withdrew, and, in auction, John Chisholm became the purchaser at 315., being one shilling advance on the upset price.
