April 22. There were no cases for hearing in either the [Resident Magistrate's or Warden's Courts at this sitting. In the Warden's 'Court the following grants were made : —Patrick Talty and and another, protection to claim ; Wade another, extension of water race; G. H. Smith, extension of tail rac ; Ah Ack and others for a dam at Peg Leg Gully; Fahey and another, protection for claim ; Thomas Dowd, protection for claim; United M. and E. Company, protection for claim in Blue Gully; John Aitkenhead, agricultural lease certificate for sections 10 and 12, block 2, Blackstone Hill, (Beck's), containing 104 acres.
