I HE RE WITH DEPOSIT the sum of Twenty Pounds, as required by the Mining Leases Regulations of Otago, and I agree, if my application (the particulars of which are hereunder set forth) be investigated, that such sum shall in all respects be held subject to the terms of such Regulations, and that upon the approval of this application, I will excecute a lease upon the basis therein stated, if the Governor shall think fit to grant the same. Time of Commencing Operations,—Preliminary operations on issue of a certificate. The above Application, and any Objection thereto, will be heard before me, at the Court House, St. Bathans, on Friday, the First December, 1871, at two o'clock p.m. Any person desiring to object to the issue of a Mining Lease upon the above Application must, within twenty-four hours of the time appointed for the hearing thereof, lodge his objection at my office at St. Bathans.
