Any jockey riding, except in colors entered, will be fined £1 Is. Fire per cent, deducted from the gross amount of stakes for expenses. Hordes walking over will receive 50 percent, of the stakes. The Mount Ida Jockey Club rules will be gtrictly enforced. Any person entering a pi<ot«st will have to deposit £2 ; and should such protest be deemed frivolous by the stewards, will have to forfeit iphe same.
