THE “TALKIE” INSTALLATION.

Messrs f \V. A, MbCuteheon, Company Director,, and L. Rowson, Supervising Engineer, to Western Electric (N.Z.) Ltd., visited Foxton yesterday to inspect the work of installing the Talkie plant in the Town Hall.

In conversation with our representative Messrs MicCutckeon and Rowson expressed surprise at the very line acoustic properties of the hall and said that with the draping work at present being carried out it should be one of the best halls in the Dominion from a reproduction point of view/ Both also express surprise at the fine hall 'Foxton possessed and said it compared-very favourably with any they had visited.
