NYE FERNS MATCH

The first match for the Nye Kerns, under the new regulations was played yesterday afternoon, l lie challenging rink being skipped by Hinds. In consequence of a challenge being registered for the Ainslie Shield by Poxton Club, word has been received from Palmerston N. Club (holders) that this challenge is due to i)m played, Wednesday next has been suggested as a suitable day by Poxton Chill).
