FOXTON FIRE BRIGADE DANCE.
Last evening the Foxton Fire Brigade held a most successful and enjoyable dance in the Masonic J IaII. The hall was packed to its utmost,' many visitors being pre-_ sent from Shannon, Tokomaru, Palmerston North, 'Wellington and the surrounding districts.' The mush: was gratuitously supplied by Messrs j. Newton and L. M'attar. The supper arrangements were in the capable hands of the committee ami left nothing to be desired. Amongst those present were: — Misses Y. Easton, black georgette; H. Gwen, pink georgette and lace;. I. Easton, pink georgette; D. Webb (Tokomaru), blue moire; K. Martin, floral taffeta; M. Dunn, green satin; E. Moore, pink taffeta; X. Woods, beige chenille; K. Roore, pink georgette and satin; N. Dunn, ■blue satin; P. Barratt, white satin and georgette; M. Moore, flame •taffeta; K. Curmcmt, white satin; •J. Jamieson, black lace; E. YV right, blue georgette; M, Grimstone, pink georgette and satin; F, Croon, Moral taffeta; A, Hickey, green crepe-de-chene.; B. Crowe, old rose moire; R. Robinson, pink crepe-de-cliene; D. Boswell, blue taffeta; E. Bindon, Moral, georgette and net; Z. Patehetl, lemon taffeta; I. Sutton, mauve crepe-de-chene and silver luce; H. Spring, black georgette; F. Spring, Iblue georgette; F. McGee, blue georgette; K. Platt (Wellington), blue georgette; B. Browu (Shannon), green georgette; 1). Reran, pink organdie; M. Benin, pink georgette; J. Brown (Shannon), gree'ngeorgette and black luce; C, Jingell, pink net; E, Devonshire, green satin; J, Griffin, black georgette; L, Martin, blue georgette; At, McGee, green crepu-de-cbeuc; L. Derosa (Wellington), green georgette; Mesdames Harris (Wellington), tomato georgette; llirini, blue crepe-de-chene; I". Fuller, pink and green crepe-de-clieiie; Lincoln, blue shot taffeta; Harvey, rose pink taffeta; Fairey (Palmerston North), green taffeta; Gibbs (Wellington), black rai-de-eliene; and many others. During the evening it was announced -that the Foxton Surf and Life Saving Clulb will hold a dance at an early date.
