AGAINST LONG SKIRTS
LADY PROFESSOR'S ADVICE. London, Oct. 15. The war against the return of long skirts is unabated. The latest recruit is Professor Winifred iCullis, 'who urged a big' gathering of city girls strong-mindedly to oppose the re-introdudtion of long fekiirts.
"I shall, be positively ashamed of women if they return to them,” said the Professor. "Do not let yourselves be- led astray because some rich women who go about in large ears choose to wear them.” Another edict was not to worry •about being slim. “If you are naturally slim,” she jsaid, "youTl be slim; if not, you won’t.”
