The annual meeting of the Presbyterian Womens Mission Union was held in the church on Tuesday afternoon, the Rev. Nicholas presided nsd opened the meeting with prayer. The annual report was submitted by the secretary (AT.iss D'unenn) also the balance-sheet by the treasurer (Airs. Sa.therley), also 1 lit* Maori Birthday League report and Harvest Foild. All reports were adopted. All the officers were unanimously re-elected. A brief' address was then given bv Air. Nicholas and flic meeting closed with the Benediction.
A meeting was held subsequentl\ to arrange for the afternoon and sale to take place on Wednesday, fire 241 Ip in the Town Hall sapper-room.
