PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH.

LADIES’ SOCIAL GUILD.

The monthly meeting of the Guild was held on the 3rd .September at 'the home of Mrs. J. M. Thomson, Thy line Street. A most, enjoyable time was spent by all present. Two amusing competitions created much interest, the prizes were won by Alesdamcs Ale--15 wan and Yard-ley respectively.

Arrangements were made by the committee responsible for the last of the series of evening socials, which will be bold in the 'Sunday schoolroom to-morrow (Friday). Before dispersing Airs. Nicholas moved a vote of thanks to the hostess which was aeeeeded to most heartily.
