GRUESOME DISCOVERY.
While gathering mussels on the boa eh at Tangimoana on Sunday afternoon, Mr. Wxunies, of Rongot ea, made a gruesome discovery
when the tide east up in front of him a human leg. The police were communicated with, and the remains were removed.
It is surmised that they belonged to one of the victims of the recent boating fatality at Raugitikei Heads.
An inquest into this fatality was held at Bulls on Saturday by the coroner, Mr. F. C. Wilson. The remains of Colin Allan Campbell, were identified by his brother. .1. Campbell, and the coroner found that deceased met li is dea th by drowning. The interment of the remains of Victor Human and Coiin Campbell took place on Sunday, the cortege being’ representative of the town ■mil country, and of sports bodies m particular. The Rev. B. White offifeialed at the cemetery.
