HIGH COMMISSIONER’S REPORT. The Department of Agriculture has received the following cablegram, dated 13th instant, from the High Commissioner for New Zealand, London:— Hemp:—Manila market quiet but steady, “K” grade Novembcr.January and Deeemiber-February shipments sold at £2O 5/-. Output of Manila from Ist January to 31st August 927,000 bales against August, 144,0.00 hales against 233,000 at same time last year. Stocks in England 18,4570 bales against 15,885. 'Sisal: — African niailket quiet but steady. Prices unchanged. Mexican unchanged. , New Zealand : Market continues quiet. No first hand sales reported.
