EXPERIENCE IN CHRISTCHURCH. iCJh list church, Sept. 14. Although there was every indication of a north-west storm, and a light north-wester was blowing at Lake Coleridge, there has been no rain this afternoon. The city was in almost total darkness last night. All the suburban streets were without lights and in the centre of the city veryfew lights were burning. The voluntary reduction of the load has achieved considerable economies—more than the authorities expected.
