OBITUARY

AIRS. J. S. AlUtk. It is with sincere regret that we announce the death of an ex-resi-dent of Foxton, in the person of Airs. -T. S. Aloir, which occurred at Shannon on Thursday evening, at (lie age of 47 years. Death was due to heart failure following an attack of rheumatic fever. Air. and Airs. Aloir took up their residence in Foxton some years ago and subsequently removed to Shannon. For some years deceased had not enjoyed good health, which was borne with Christian fortitude and deepened her sympathetic and lovable disposition, which endeared her to all with whom she was acquainted. To the husband and family who have been bereft of an affectionate and devoted wife and mother the sympathy of the community will he extended. The family consists of three daughters and a son. The funeral will lake place at Shannon at 2 p.m. to-morrow (Sunday).
