At a meeting of the directors of the Shannon 'Co-op. Dairy Co. at the conclusion of the annual meeting' of shareholders, held on Wednesday, Air. R. Waring Taylor was re-elected chairman for the twelfth time.

' Afiss E. Wingate, who has been acting as relieving teacher at the Beach School left for her home in Poliangina yesterday. Aliss Wingate will not be returning to Foxton after the holidays as Aliss Rankin has been appointed to the vacancy on the staff.

The death occurred at AVillis SI., Wellington, on Friday, of Air. Cvri! Leslie' Yarnham, son of Air. and Mrs. AI. R. Manilla in, of Bath St., Levin. The late Air. Yarnham was iI.T years of age and had been associated with the theatre life, as a cinema operator and scenic and poster artist. He served for two years with the N.Z.E.E., being invalided home through an attack of gas at Passehendale. He leaves a wife and two children, who are at present, residing at Patea. The late Mr. Yarnham painted the scenery for the local Town Hall.
